Studio Policies

By signing up for a class, you agree to the following Studio Policies.

  • The Pilates District runs on a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to make any changes to your booked session, please do so 24-hours in advance to avoid losing your session.

  • Our goal is to be a reliable business but not put our staff or clients in a compromising situation.

    Canceling:

    • Any classes 5am- 8am. Decision will be made the night before by 9pm.

    • Any classes at 8:30am will be decided 2 hours prior to the scheduled class time.

    • The Pilates District will be contacting you via email if there is a class cancellation due to inclement weather. Please update your email and cell/home phone information. Postings will also be made

    • In the event that there are electrical outages in the area. Please provide a cell phone number.

    • You will NOT be charged for any canceled classes that we cancel due to inclement weather. You will be automatically ‘early’ canceled in the system. If YOU choose to cancel in less than 24 hours in advance, you will be charged for that class. See cancellation policy above.

  • Do yourself, your fellow students, and your instructor a solid by showing up before class starts. Entering after a session has already started can be disruptive, and you risk getting locked out. Arrive at least five minutes before class (15 minutes if it’s your first visit) to allow yourself time to get situated.

  • If you’re going to be late please let the instructor know. To protect everyone in the studio and their belongings, doors lock after 5 minutes. After that time, you’ll forfeit your session.

  • Wear appropriate clothing. A typical Pilates class will have your body moving in all sorts of positions, so wear clothes that you can move freely in without any accidental slips. Grip socks are required!

Socks are for purchase in the studio.

FAQ

Please reach out if you have any additional questions.

  • Pilates is a conditioning routine that builds flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination. In addition, Pilates increases circulation and helps strengthen the body's "core" or "powerhouse". People who do Pilates regularly feel they have better posture, are less prone to injury, and experience better overall health. The "powerhouse" - abdomen, lower back, and buttocks - is supported and strengthened, enabling the rest of the body to move free.

  • Everyone can do and benefit from Pilates! Whether you’re a beginner, an athlete, active-ager or are dealing with an injury.
